Who said hard work pays off ??

I really want an answer to this question , who the hell said hard work pays offf??? This world is not fair at all , a person who works is pushed an extra mile to do extra work whereas those people who come to office at 11 AM , starts off by going to have a cup of coffee , returns to the seat at 11:30 AM, checks mail , keeps roaming about talking to colleagues , goes to lunch at 1:30 PM , comes back by say 2:30 or 3 PM and then goes to the cafeteria by 4 ,comes back by 4:30 and leaves by 6 PM sharp and doesnt even get called to work on saturdays...phew!! What a life man .... On the other hand we go to office at 8 AM ( we skip breakfast many a time ) and work till night 11:30 PM or 12 AM with the same 2 coffee breaks, lunch,dinner break in middle and to top it all , even though saturday is voluntary , we are REQUIRED to be there in office , how fair is this ???? What is our hard work fetching us ? Remuneration??? ... Appreciation ???? .... but sadly we get none :-(

I always believe that we have to be happy and contended with what we get but with such a sort of treatment I doubt how long I will be able to adhere to the above clause .
